We’re growing and looking for a skilled, reliable Service Technician who takes pride in hands-on work, problem-solving, and keeping critical systems running.

The Role

As a Service Technician, you’ll be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and installing petroleum and liquid fuel systems. You’ll work directly in the field at customer sites, ensuring uptime, safety, and compliance.

You’ll handle everything from fuel dispensers and pumps to tank monitoring systems, piping, and leak detection, with work aligned to your current certifications and experience level.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair fuel dispensers, pumps, and related equipment
  • Service components including hanging hardware, meters, and valves
  • Perform preventative maintenance and inspections on fuel systems
  • Work with submersible and suction pump systems
  • Inspect and service leak detection and tank monitoring systems
  • Support installation, testing, and commissioning of fuel systems
  • Respond to emergency service calls and equipment failures
  • Complete service reports, documentation, and compliance records
  • Maintain service vehicle, tools, and inventory
  • Follow all safety, environmental, and regulatory procedures
  • Other related duties as assigned

Required Skills

  • TSSA Petroleum Mechanic PMH, PM1 license
  • Valid Ontario driver’s licence with clean abstract
  • Hands-on mechanical and/or electrical troubleshooting experience
  • Ability to read technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
  • Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Willingness to participate in on-call / after-hours rotation
  • Strong communication and customer service skills

Assets

  • TSSA PM2 License (Underground Installations)
  • TSSA PM3 License (Aboveground Installations)
  • Measurement Canada Recognized Technician

Experience with

  • Fuel dispensers and POS interface systems
  • ATG / tank monitoring systems
  • Leak detection systems
  • Submersible pumps and fuel transfer systems
  • Electrical, controls or instrumentation experience

Work Environment

  • Field-based role across Southern and Southwestern Ontario
  • Travel between job sites daily
  • Combination of scheduled work and emergency service calls
  • Physically active role (lifting, bending, climbing, kneeling)
  • Work around fuel systems and regulated environments
