Interested in Attending a Board Meeting?
OPCA members are welcome to observe Board meetings. If you’d like to attend, please get in touch with us in advance. Some agenda items may be held in closed session.
Member Access to OPCA Board Meetings
OPCA is committed to transparency and member engagement. As such, members are welcome to attend Board of Directors meetings in an observer capacity. To ensure meetings run smoothly and confidential matters are handled appropriately, the following guidelines apply:
- Advance Notice Required: Members must contact OPCA in advance to request attendance.
- Observer Role Only: Members may observe but are not permitted to vote or participate in discussions unless invited by the Chair.
- Closed Sessions: Certain portions of the meeting—such as those dealing with legal, financial, or personnel matters—may be held in closed session and not open to observers.
- Meeting Minutes: Approved meeting minutes are available upon request for members who cannot attend.
